DESCRIPTION:Learning to Laser! \n \n \n \n Get ready to design, create, experiment, and discover! \n \n \n At Learning to Laser, girls will get a hands-on look at the creative technology used to turn an idea into something they can actually take home! They'll rotate through four interactive stations, learning new skills and creating their own projects along the way. \n \n \n \n Engrave a Journal – See how a laser can transform an ordinary journal into something uniquely yours. \n Print & Cut an Ornament – Learn how designs go from the computer to a finished ornament. \n Design & Press a Bag – Create your own design, print it, and use a heat press to put it onto a bag you can take home. \n Engrave a Keychain – Discover how different materials react to a laser while creating your own personalized keychain. \n \n \n But Learning to Laser is about more than making cool stuff! Girls will also get a peek behind the scenes of a small business, explore different materials and equipment, and discover some of the science, technology, engineering, art, and creativity that make all of these projects possible. \n \n \n They'll leave with new creations, new knowledge, and maybe even a few ideas about what they could create next! \n \n \n Two Sessions Available \n \n \n Morning Session: 10:00 AM – Noon \n \n Afternoon Session: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM \n \n \n Space is limited to just 25 girls per session! \n \n \n \n Choose the session that works best for you and sign up early before all the spots are gone! \n \n \n Come curious. Leave creative! \n \n \n \n *There will be dogs locked up on the property - wanted to make note for anyone with allergies \n
