DESCRIPTION:1.    Leader Orientation is a one-time training that is required for all new leaders starting or taking over a Girl Scout troop in San Gorgonio. This orientation will cover the specific policies, standards and guidelines Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio holds to each troop.  \n  \n  \n 2.    A Girl Scout group is responsible for planning and financing its own activities, with adult guidance. This training will inform you of San Gorgonio financial policies, managing troop finances, girl planning and reporting requirements.  \n  \n  \n 3.   When preparing for any activity with girls, always begin with the Safety Activity Checkpoints (SACs) written specifically for that particular activity. Be sure and review the Safety Activity Checkpoints Matrix to confirm the activity you’re preparing to engage in is age appropriate and if Council approval is required.  \n  \n  \n These trainings are required to be completed within 30 day of appointment as a co leader. Appointment as a Troop Helper requires that Troop Financial Management be completed within 30 days of appointment.  \n  \n  \n *Must be registered to attend event. No walk-ins* \n
