Calling girls of ALL ages for the Ripple Effect Series!

The Ripple Effect

One small act of kindness can create waves of change. Just like a single drop in water spreads outward, kindness, leadership, and service have the power to inspire others and transform communities. In this series, we’ll explore how standing up, speaking out, and taking action can make a lasting impact—because even the smallest ripple can lead to something big.

All meetings are required for this series.

Ripple Effect 1: Giving Back to the Community (5/14)

Explore the power of community service by planning a meaningful project.

The session begins with mapping local community needs, such as food banks and environmental efforts. Participants will create care packages for local shelters or nursing homes, learning the impact of giving back. Volunteer stories will inspire girls to take action and strengthen their communities.

Ripple Effect 2: Leadership & Confidence Building (5/28)

Build leadership skills and confidence in this empowering session.

Girls will discuss leadership qualities, give short speeches on topics they care about, and participate in trust-building games like the “Trust Fall.” By the end, they'll feel more confident in their leadership potential.

Ripple Effect 3: Social Activism and Advocacy (6/11)

Dive into social activism and learn to advocate for causes that matter.

Girls will choose a cause they’re passionate about, create advocacy posters, and write petitions to take action. This session empowers girls with the skills to become changemakers in their communities.

Ripple Effect 4: Random Acts of Kindness & Anti-Bullying (6/25)

Promote kindness and positive behavior.

Girls will plan a week of random acts of kindness, practice standing up against bullying through role-play, and reflect on their actions in Kindness Journals. They'll leave equipped with tools to foster empathy and respect in their daily lives.

Ripple Effect 5: Building a Leadership Action Plan (7/9)

Create a personalized leadership action plan to make a difference in the community.

Girls will outline a project they’re passionate about, team up for mini leadership projects, and reflect on their growth as leaders through feedback sessions. They'll gain the tools and confidence to take action.

Ripple Effect 6: Community Service Project Showcase & Celebration (7/23)

Showcase the community service projects girls have worked on.

Each girl will present their project, followed by a celebration ceremony with awards for leadership, kindness, and community impact. The meeting ends with a reflection session, celebrating the positive change they’ve made.
