Designed to foster the development of leadership skills, this training gives girls a strong foundation for working with younger Girl Scouts. Participants will explore the Girl Scout program, learn about the developmental characteristics of younger girls, and understand the role and responsibilities of a Program Aide. Girls will also practice selecting, planning, and leading age-appropriate activities while using problem-solving strategies.
This session includes a special opportunity—our Wi-Wo-Ca Campfire Night will directly follow the training, giving girls the chance to immediately put their new skills into practice in a fun, real-world setting.
Please bring a sack lunch.
